Themes
Themes bring all the elements of a party together: food, music, décor,
and entertainment. Ralph Rood can help you choose a theme that is perfect
for your guests' age group and interests, the site of the party, and
your budget.
Currently some of the more popular options
are Sports nights, Murder
Mystery, team-building activities,
motivational speakers, comedians,
name performers, and Caribbean
steel drum revue. |

Themes for Groups
Casino Nights are extremely popular
as fund-raising activities! We also have some wonderful casino
décor, including over-sized playing cards and festive casino balloons.
Our strolling Dixieland band and magician will also add a wonderful
touch to the evening.
Circus or Carnival themes are terrific fun for the
whole family. Imagine festive striped tents and midway-type food carts
giving out popcorn, cotton candy, pretzels, and ice cream. Guests can
test their own skill at carnival games such as beanbag toss, frog leap,
skeeball and win wondrous prizes of stuffed animals, hats, and plastic
wares. Or they can admire the skills of stilt walkers, mimes, jugglers,
unicycle riders, and face painters. For real carnival atmosphere, Ralph
Rood can provide a carousel, an antique calliope, a ferris wheel, and
super slides.
Scavenger Hunt is a fun corporate team builder that
takes place in the hotel and on the grounds. Recently, we had a scavenger
hunt for a wireless company. We used their cell phones to give out clues
to the participants.
Sports Nights are very interactive with pool tables,
ping pong, foosball, indoor golf driving range, miniature golf, and
more. This can be used for team building -- or just plain fun. One recent
party used Yankee pinstriped table linen with centerpieces of baseball
bats, hats, and so on.
Country Western Night comes with line dance instructors,
split rail fencing, saddles, bands, a swinging saloon door entrance,
and checked table cloths. How about adding in a trick rope artist or
a quick draw gun slinger?
Corporate Karaoke We have a singing DJ who will turn
your guests into The Beach Boys, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and other
interactive singing groups.
Or ask about our Renaissance Festival, New
Age, Mardi Gras, or Gay Nineties themes.
